What is Direct Primary Care?

Direct primary care (DPC) is a healthcare model that emphasizes a direct relationship between patients and their primary care providers. In this system, patients pay a monthly fee for access to a range of services, which allows for more personalized care and improved communication. This approach often results in longer appointment times and a focus on preventative care, enhancing the overall patient experience.

You can learn more about DPC here.

Below are some important FAQ's about our practice.

1

What's included in your annual fee?

Your annual fee covers the professional services of your physicians for an annual physical, follow-up visits, preventative care, and health optimization planning. We do not bill insurance or Medicare. Unfortunately, due to Medicare regulations, this means we are unable to accept Medicare patients.

2

What's not included?

Anything that isn't part of the physician's professional services. This means medications, lab work, imaging, specialist referrals, ER & hospital visits and surgery are not included. You still need health coverage for these costs.

3

How will we help?

We will always help you with finding the most cost-effective options for medications, lab work, imaging, and other medical services wherever possible. Ultimately those costs are your responsibility.
